Manufacturing responsibly
is caring for the planet.
At GAD, sustainability is not a trend or a marketing seal. It is a non-negotiable pillar that guides every decision, from the choice of raw materials to the last package leaving our plants.

PEFC Certification
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification

PEFC Certification
PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is the world's largest forest certification system, present in more than 50 countries. It guarantees that wood comes from sustainably managed forests, respecting ecosystems, biodiversity and the rights of local communities.
GAD maintains active PEFC chain of custody in all its production processes. This means that from the tree to the finished product on the shelf, every step is audited and independently certified.
Responsibly managed forests
Wood comes from forests where what is felled is replanted, preserving natural cycles.
Certified chain of custody
Every transformation of the material is registered and independently audited.
Protected biodiversity
Certified forests maintain their fauna, flora and ecological balance.
Respected local communities
Worker and forest community rights are guaranteed.
Our commitments
4 non-negotiable pillars
Real sustainability, not window dressing. Each pillar is integrated into our daily production processes.

PEFC Certified Wood
All wood material used at GAD comes from PEFC-certified forests — the world's largest forest certification program. This guarantees that every tree felled is replaced and that forest ecosystems remain in balance.

100% Recyclable Packaging
We have redesigned our entire packaging system to eliminate single-use plastics. 100% of our packaging is recyclable, without compromising the protection our products need during transport.

Renewable Energy
Our 5 production plants operate with energy from renewable sources. We have reduced our carbon footprint by 40% in the last decade and continue investing in energy efficiency in every production process.

Responsible Raw Materials
We work exclusively with suppliers who share our environmental values. We regularly audit the supply chain to ensure that every component — fabrics, inks, glass, metals — has a responsible and traceable origin.
From start to finish
Sustainability in every phase
Sustainability is not a phase of the production process. It is the common thread that connects all the others.
Phase 1
Design
We choose certified materials before starting any collection.
Phase 2
Raw Material
We only work with PEFC certified wood and audited materials.
Phase 3
Manufacturing
Optimized processes to minimize waste and energy consumption across 5 plants.
Phase 4
Packaging
Recyclable packaging. Zero single-use plastics.
Phase 5
Logistics
Optimized routes and efficient palletizing to reduce transport emissions.
Phase 6
End of Life
We design durable products. When they reach the end of their life, they are recyclable.
